人口減少・超少子高齢社会のいま、
ここ『 山形県白鷹町 』でも若者の数・若者が活躍できる場所が減ってきています。
地元に残る人たち
地元に戻る人たち
そして、将来を担う子ども達に
「わたしもここで何か出来るかもしれない」
という可能性を感じてほしい
もっともっと白鷹町を好きになって欲しいという想いが私たちの原点です。
そして、
山々に囲まれた白鷹町の中で、当たり前のように存在している「木」。
「木」は町の貴重な資源であり、様々なモノづくりの源泉です。
私たちの生活を守り一緒に育ってきた木を材料にモノづくりは出来ないかと思い立ったのがキッカケです。
クリエイティブなアイデアと加工技術で、
温もりと暖かさを感じられるアイテムを生み出します。
In this era of population decline and an aging society with extremely low birth rates,
here in Shirataka Town, Yamagata Prefecture, the number of young people and the places where they can thrive are also decreasing.
For those who stay in the community,
for those who return to the community,
and for the children who will shape the future,
we want them to feel the possibility that
“I might be able to do something here too.”
Our fundamental desire is for them to grow to love Shirataka Town even more.
And then,
Within Shirataka Town, surrounded by mountains, “wood” exists as a matter of course.
“Wood” is a precious resource for the town and the source of various creations.
The spark came when we wondered: Couldn’t we create things using the wood that has protected our lives and grown alongside us?
With creative ideas and processing techniques,
we produce items that convey warmth and comfort.
